Facebook to Replace Existing "Networks" With Linking Out to "Community Pages" with Profile Info?

A quick follow-up to my post earlier this evening. 

At this point, it looks like Facebook is digging deeper into creating Community Pages based on your entire profile (interests, schools, music, books, movies, place of employment, etc.) Might it be that this system will serve as a quasi-replacement for the existing "Networks" and the way in which they are formed? 

I've attached a screenshot representing what you'll find when you click the image to the right of your information within your profile. When I entered mine, I did it in one complete sentence, but the Facebook definitely wants to piece it out, i.e. each of my book titles should have been a separate entry when I was typing them into my profile.

Ahh..definitely a week full of Facebook changes, tweaks and additions.
